Specialized solutions

Drill core scanning, rapid sorting of metallic waste or online detection of toxic elements for quality control of recycled plastics.

These are among the many applications that benefit from incorporating the analytical power of laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy into the process.

Industrial configuration

Industrial systems prioritize the high sensitivity to the required chemical elements, combined with adaptability, speed, and durability. Core unit is usually combined with:

  • Remote analysis module for up to 1 m distance.
  • Up to 1kHz repetition rate module for high sample throughput.
  • MODBUS/Ethernet communication protocol.
  • Dust-seal and vibration-resistant enclosure.

Versatile solutions

Unlock new insights in your research through the numerous analytical capabilities of Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy.

Wherever you need fast whole-sample chemical imaging, detect even the lightest elements such as H, Li or Be, perform depth profiling of multilayer materials, or your samples are as small as 50 um, miniFly gives you the easy solution in the form of a compact desktop instrument.

Research configuration

The main priorities of the laboratory configurations are the hight sensitivity to a wide range of chemical elements, automated chemical imaging and in inert atmosphere. Capability for analytical upgrades is an extra benefit. Following these, the core unit is usually equipped with:

  • Digital microscope module with razor-sharp Plan Achromatic imaging optics.
  • Motorized sample stage, 100×100 mm.
  • Dual illumination module.
  • Air-tight sample chamber
  • Coupling module for connecting an aditional external high resolution spectrometer.
